Searching for reliable risk factors of postoperative complications allows to identify patients of a high risk of complications group and to discharge earlier from hospital patients with a good prognosis. C-reactive protein is well known as a sensitive and dynamic marker of systemic inflammatory response syndrome. This study evaluated the feasibility of using C-reactive protein as predictor of septic postoperative complications. It was shown that analysis of serum CRP in early postoperative period allows to predict septic postoperative complications in colorectal cancer patients.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Прогнозирование в онкохирургии – инструмент в организации и управлении лечебным процессом. Поиск надежных прогностических критериев развития послеоперационных осложнений позволит выявить больных группы высокого риска развития послеоперационных осложнений, сократить сроки стационарного лечения пациентов с благоприятным прогнозом. Хорошо известен чувствительный и динамичный маркер синдрома системного воспалительного ответа - C-реактивный белок. В данном исследовании проведена оценка возможности использования определения C-реактивного белка в качестве предиктора гнойных послеоперационных осложнений.
