Prediction in colorectal surgery is very useful instrument in managing the health care system in hospitals. Searching for reliable risk factors of postoperative complications allows to identify patients of a high risk of complications group and to discharge earlier from hospital patients with a good prognosis. C-reactive protein is well known as a sensitive and dynamic marker of systemic inflammatory response syndrome. This study evaluated the feasibility of using C-reactive protein as predictor of septic postoperative complications. It was shown that analysis of serum CRP in early postoperative period allows to predict septic postoperative complications in colorectal cancer patients.

Прогнозирование в онкохирургии – инструмент в организации и управлении лечебным процессом. Поиск надежных прогностических критериев развития послеоперационных осложнений позволит выявить больных группы высокого риска развития послеоперационных осложнений, сократить сроки стационарного лечения пациентов с благоприятным прогнозом. Хорошо известен чувствительный и динамичный маркер синдрома системного воспалительного ответа - C-реактивный белок. В данном исследовании проведена оценка возможности использования определения C-реактивного белка в качестве предиктора гнойных послеоперационных осложнений. Показано, что количественное определение уровня C-реактивного белка в плазме крови в динамике в раннем послеоперационном периоде, позволяет прогнозировать развитие гнойных послеоперационных осложнений у больных колоректальным раком.
