In the nearest postoperative period there wasn’t any significant differences between two groups. The main meaning in distant postoperative period had developing of atherosclerosis in different arteries. The general mortality was compared between two groups (p&gt;0,05). Type 2 diabetic patients had oftener bilateral carotid reconstructions (p=0,005), and oftener had coronary revascularizations (p=0,01). We’ve made a conclusion that carotid reconstructions in type 2 diabetic patients showed the acceptable results in the nearest and distant postoperative periods.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Представлен сравнительный анализ исходов реконструктивных операций на сонных артериях у больных сахарным диабетом 2 типа и пациентов без диабета. Статистически значимых различий в ближайшем послеоперационном периоде между группами не наблюдалось. Судьба пациентов определялась прогрессированием атеросклеротиче- ского процесса в отдаленном периоде. Общая летальность была сопоставима между группами (p&gt;0,05). Больные сахарным диабетом 2 типа чаще переносили каротидные реконструкции с обеих сторон (p=0,005), а также чаще подвергались коронарной реваскуляризации (p=0,01).
