Alternative method of treatment of knots of a thyroid gland is their local destruction a way of application of a radiofrequency ablation. The application of minimally invasive technique – radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for improving the results of treatment of patients with benign thyroid nodules. Presented our own data on the treatment of patients with thyroid nodules by RFA. The purpose of the study Improvement of results of treatment of patients with good quality neoplasm of a thyroid gland by means of a radiofrequency ablation. Materials and methods Method was applied at 25 patients with the diagnosis: nodal (multinodal) euthyroid struma of 1 degree. Radiofrequency ablation carried out the radio-frequency RITA Medical 1500X generator and the electrode of StarBurst SDE 2.0 having 3 conductors. Results and their discussion In a month after carrying out a radio-frequency ablation, there was a decrease of the sizes of knots of a thyroid gland – colloid by 1,5 times, cystic twice. Conclusion The radiofrequency ablation is the method which is effectively reducing volume of good-quality nonfunctioning nodal formations of a thyroid gland. At cystic knots efficiency of a radiofrequency ablation is higher, than at the solid. The radiofrequency ablation can be an effective and safe method of treatment of good-quality nodal formations of a thyroid gland, when keeping indications to technique application.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Актуальность Значительная распространенность узловых изменений щитовидной железы (ЩЖ), возможность раннего выявления, верификации образований, неоправданный риск осложнений при традиционных оперативных вмешатель- ствах, диктует необходимость выработки конкретных показаний и эффективных методов их лечения в зависимости от размеров, морфологической структуры и вызываемых клинических проявлений. Альтернативным методом лечения узлов ЩЖ является их локальная деструкция путем применения радиочастотной абляции. Рассматривается применение мало- инвазивного метода – радиочастотной абляции (РЧА) для улучшения результатов лечения больных с доброкачественны- ми узловыми образованиями щитовидной железы. Представлены собственные данные по лечению больных с узловыми образованиями щитовидной железы методом РЧА. Цель исследования Улучшение результатов лечения больных с доброкачественными новообразованиями ЩЖ путем при- менения метода РЧА. Материалы и методы Метод РЧА был применен у 25 пациентов с диагнозом: узловой (многоузловой) эутиреоидный зоб 1 степени. РЧА проводили радиочастотным генератором RITA Medical 1500X и электродом StarBurst SDE 2.0, имеющим 3 проводника. Результаты и их обсуждение Через месяц после проведения РЧА, произошло уменьшение размеров узлов ЩЖ – коллоид- ных в 1,5 раза, кистозных почти в 2 раза. Выводы РЧА является методом, эффективно уменьшающим объем доброкачественных нефункционирующих узловых образований ЩЖ. При кистозных узлах эффективность РЧА выше, чем при солидных.
