Concept of biochemical and biomechanical compatibility justifi es using these implants. There is the possibility of an early activation and the rehabilitation of patients without signifi cant restriction of mobility involved segment of bone in the postoperative period, due to superelastic properties of nickelid titanium. Choice of fi xation of bone fragments was dependent on the type of fracture, the nature of the displacement of bone fragments, bone strength. The proposed method of surgical treatment has helped to accelerate rehabilitation patients and improve treatment outcomes. The obtained results good in 50 (96%) patients, satisfactory in 1 (2%) patient and unsatisfactory in 1 (2%) patient show that the use of nickelid titanium is effective method treatment</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>За период с 2004 по 2010 год проведено лечение 52 больных с переломами костей конечностей методом имплантации конструкциями из никелида титана с памятью формы. На базе концепции биомеханической и биохимической со- вместимости с тканями организма обосновано их применение. Благодаря сверхупругим свойствам они обеспечива- ют возможность ранней активизации и реабилитации больных без грубого нарушения подвижности поврежденного сегмента кости в послеоперационном периоде. Подход к определению и выбору фиксации костных отломков был дифференцированным, в зависимости от типа перелома, характера смещения отломков, качества кости. Предлага- емая схема оперативного лечения позволила ускорить реабилитацию пациентов и улучшить результаты лечения.
