Abstract

The problem of nutrition support in severe acute nontraumatic intracranial hemorrhage definitely is not solved despite the development and description of almost all the components of the treatment complex. The actual work presents the results of using various programs of nutrition support for patients with severe nontraumatic intracranial hemorrhage. The authors assess the adequacy of enteral nutrition with modern balanced multi-component mixtures for these patients. The work deals with the comparative characteristics of complications of nutrition support and the significant influence of nutrition insufficiency on the humoral immunity. The question of the safety of parenteral nutrition in acute cerebral pathology is considered. The ways of optimization of nutrition support for patients with severe intracranial hemorrhages are proposed.
