New experimental basis of surgical treatment for expiratory collapse of the trachea and main bronchi

Abstract

Original methods of diagnosis and surgical treatment for expiratory collapse of trachea and main bronchi have been developed. Efficiency of the methods was studied on experimental model of expiratory collapse. Diagnostic device functions on the ground of optical location. It workingpart is flexibleprobe, which is placed intotracheobronchiallumen. Findings are reflected as computer graphs and saved for further processing. Surgical treatment consistsin external stabilization of movable trachealsegment with titanium nikelide implant. Efficacy of the method was tested using clinical, radiological, endoscopic and morphological examination. It is ascertained, that the technique permits to eliminate redundant mobility of tracheal segment simply and reliably.
