Abstract
The article provides a comparative analysis of treatment of 50 patients with chronic osteomyelitis using ozonetherapy and 50 patients with traditional threatment methods. The research was conducted in clinics of the Samara State Medical Univercity. Usage of medical ozone during the operation allows to achieve more effective increasing of microbial contamination of bone cavities and soft tissues. Application of ozonetherapy in postoperative period contributes to the normalization of immune protection parameters. The inclusion of ozonetherapy in complex treatment improves the immediate and remote results of treatment of patients with chronic osteomyelitis.
